Costa Rica and China established a Joint Working Group to study the feasability of Costa Rica-China Free Trade Agreement. The first meeting was held on 9-11 January 2008. The second and third meetings of the Joint Working Group were held in Beijing, China on 7 May 2008; and Puntarenas, Costa Rica, on 7-8 July 2008 respectively.
